Make Me Lie Book Description:
The world knows me as the Demon’s Daughter.
He’s a famous serial killer. And I may have been his accomplice.
But no one knows for sure except for me.
The dangerous, cruel men of the Sphinx secret society intend to uncover my secrets…and break me.
Stellan, my childhood crush who lost his sister to the Demon.
Cain, the boy with the face of an angel to who manipulation comes as easy as breathing;
Remington, the playboy soccer star full of secrets.
Pax, the dark psycho who hides behind his fists.
I hoped for a second chance at Darkwood University, only to have my dream ripped away the first time I kissed one of the handsome bastards.
They know who I am.
And they’re determined to make me pay.
They should have thought twice about who they were playing with.
Because I am the demon’s daughter. And just because they have the power, the connections, the faces and bodies of gods… do they really think they’ll win?
I wanted a new life, not a war.
But if they insist, we’ll see who ends up playing.
“The only way anyone will ever see you as a victim again is if you want them to. And at any time, you can pull the blindfold from their eyes and show them you’re always the one with the knife.”

Make Me Lie Review:
The Demon’s daughter enrolls in college with a new identity. With a new name, backstory, and face, Aurora hopes to finally enjoy life like an average 18-year-old. But once someone uncovers her sordid past, Aurora is taken in by four guys who will protect her as much as they bully her.
The plot really intrigued me. I dabble in true crime from time to time and a story focusing on the child instead of the killer really piqued my interest.
I also enjoyed watching Aurora finally stand up for herself. She deserves her chance at finishing college and creating a life she can enjoy without her demons haunting her.
I forget to mention the sexual tension between Aurora and the four guys. Absolutely delectable.
While reading this book, I learned my mental health was hurting a bit. Normally I can read pretty much anything, but the bullying in Make Me Lie was a bit intense for me in my current frame of mind. I needed a palette cleanser before heading into book 2. I’ve been assured by a trusted reader friend that it gets better. Oh, and Stellan is a fucking dick.
I couldn’t make sense of Aurora’s lack of self-confidence when she could literally murder someone if she felt like it. It was good to see her gaining confidence towards the end of the book. I look forward to seeing what she is capable of throughout the series.
Make Me Lie is perfect for readers who enjoy A dark college bully romance, MMCs who are as attractive as they are infuriating, and the daughter of a serial killer who’s locked up…for now.
