Broken Book Description:
You want to know the secret to everlasting happiness?
Never fall in love.
That was the wisdom my father imparted to us James boys after our mom died, and itās a piece of advice thatās served me well.
Until dear old Dad asks me for a favor over Sunday brunch. No big deal, right? I love making my old man happy. Except this āfavorā is a lot more complicated than picking up his dry cleaning. Dad wants me to marry and provide a few heirs for the James empire, and heās even done me the courtesy of handpicking my bride-to-be. Lucky me.
But if Iām being honest, Iāve grown tired of the endless cycle of dating, the constant small talk, and the ever-shrinking pool of women I havenāt already invited for a sleepover.
Iām a lawyer, so contracts are kind of my thing. And thatās all marriage really isāa contract negotiated between two parties. What could possibly go wrong?
Enter Melanie Edison, the five-foot-four brunette with curves in ALL the right places. A veterinary nurse with the smartest mouth Iāve ever heard. And I have more fun not dating her than I did dating any woman before, even with Melanieās absurd no-sex-before-marriage rule.
But when our business arrangement becomes so much more, I end up breaking my most important rule. And thatās when it all goes to hell.
I have no idea how we can ever repair the damage thatās been done. Iām not even sure I want to. And maybe going back to my old life wonāt be so hard.
Except itās too late. I broke my rule.
And she broke me.

Broken Review:
Nathan James had no intention of settling down when his father approached him to discuss the James family legacy. His father wants grandchildren and Nathan is the only one of his brothers his father has faith in. In preparation for this conversation, Nathanās father set up a meeting with Melanie.
Melanie may come from money, but she prides herself on being self-sufficient. When her brother forces her hand to meet Nathan, the two oppose the situation but view it as a business transaction.
But what happens when business becomes pleasure?

Sadie Kincaid knows how to write s3x scenes. The spice was spicing, but it was a little on the vanilla side according to my spice scale. That being said, Nathan Jamesā dirty talk had me clutching my pearls.
Broken is perfect for readers who enjoy a healthy serving of spice, an alpha male loaded with cash and confidence, and an independent, relatable FMC who will do what she can to help save her family.
Thank you to Sadie Kincaid for the ARC.
