Black Card Black Review:
Essie’s marriage leaves a lot to be desired. Her and her husband have become more like roommates and she suspects he might even be cheating.
Enter Black Card Black.
After Essie sees a neighbor leaving behind three men in a van with her clothes in a state of disarray, she feels compelled to ask what happened. After trying to avoid the conversation, the neighbor hands over an all-black business card with nothing but a phone number on it. Does Essie have the courage to take back the power in her life and pick up the phone?
I loved the premise of the book and J.D. Midnight had my pulled in on page one. The idea of a marriage in crisis not ending in an HEA for the couple is a novel idea. And the HEA, which isn’t your conventional HEA, is the perfect closure to Essie’s story.
Black Card Black is perfect for readers who enjoy pure smut, three dominant males, and an FMC who is living her best life while getting absolutely railed.
Thank you to J.D. Midnight for the ARC.
